How to Compost these approved products
Option 1: Grab yourself a @compostcollectivekc bin swap for $10 ($6 for refill) on your next visit to our Brookside Day! (56th & Brookside Blvd on Sundays from 8:30am-2pm). Take it home, fill up with food scraps, paper towels, pizza boxes, and Wild Way compostable cups. Bring back to us and swap it for a fresh bucket for $6 any Sunday. Repeat and see your waste reduced! See here for more info from Compost Collective.
Option 2: Have Compost Collective come to your house for weekly or biweekly pickups! Check their website here to see if your house is in their pickup zone! Add our products, food scraps, meat products, dairy, pizza boxes, paper products and more. Watch your trash get cut down significantly as you renew your waste thru composting!
Option 3: Bring back to us and throw them away in our compost bins by the Camper and we'll compost them for you through our commercial partner KC Can Compost. It's easy! Just keep a box in your car or house and place rinsed Wild Way cups inside. Empty full boxes at the Camper on your next visit! *very important to only place Wild Way cups in this box. Plastic cups (PET) are not compostable even though they look the exact same.
Option 4: BYOMug and we'll make your beverage in your fave travelers mug or reusable jar. One of Jon and my's fave ways to drink coffee to-go is in glass jars we recycle from old glass pasta or salsa jars that are approx 12-16oz. Great way to reuse perfectly happy glass jars that get new life!
